Jesus said whatever things we desires when we pray, we should believe that we receive them, and that we shall have them. (Mark 11:24)
Father, I ask Thee now for the things that I need and desire in my life, for my family and in my business. I trust that I receive them now. I know that all things that are for my highest good are mine and on my way to me now.
Anyone who has ever given birth knows what it means to go through “transition.” Transition is the most difficult phase of labor when the mother’s cervix dilates from 8-10 centimeters. It’s just prior to pushing. More often than not, it’s accompanied by the greatest pain.
Having given birth to six children naturally, I know from experience that this is the point where you want to give up. But there’s no turning back. There’s no putting the bun back in the oven. As transition passes, the urge to push becomes incredible. Shortly, your precious baby is born.
Birthing destinies is a lot like birthing babies. It’s at that point just before you break through to clarity, vision and courage, when most people go through a difficult period of transition. When you hit that difficult phase, you know that you’re just about to gain exquisite clarity about who you are and why you’re here. I call this transitional phase “transparency” or “authenticity.”
Being yourself and letting go of everything you’re NOT requires the courage to be authentic. For most of us, that requires a significant amount of self-discovery that can, quite frankly, be emotionally painful. But the benefits of pushing on through are incredible and life altering. You will never be the same. Quite literally you are reborn.
Remember, everything of value requires a sacrifice. And the sacrifice in birthing your destiny is letting go of everything you are not, and having the courage to be who God created you to be. This video shares insights I received on the power of the atonement to heal relationships, hearts and transform lives. I hope you enjoy it…
